Tallinn Music Week’s 2014 programme highlights included retrofuturist duo Public Service Broadcasting from England; deep, spooky and rhythmic experimental pop outfit BRNS from Belgium; Ballet School from Berlin that takes cues from 80s artpop and r’n’b; post-rock trio Everything is Made in China and folk rock star Inna Zhelannaya from Russia. Some of the more exotic names featured were Iranian artists Arash Yazdan and Shiraz Rahavarde-Parsian and Georgian collective IRIAO.
