The 19th edition of the international new music and city festival and music industry conference Tallinn Music Week takes place in the Estonian capital Tallinn on 8 – 11 April 2027.
Tallinn Music Week (TMW) is one of the most acclaimed new music and city culture festivals and key networking events for music and creative industry professionals across Europe, held annually in the capital of Estonia, Tallinn since 2009. TMW celebrates creativity, curiosity and freedom by presenting various art forms. The festival consists of three main programme parts: music festival, conference and city festival.
Artists from all over the world will perform at TMW music festival. TMW´s music programme is renowned for its bold mix of unique talent across Europe and beyond with diverse genres from experimental electronica to classical represented.
TMW, “the festival for tomorrow’s music, arts and ideas” consists of three main programme elements:
▸ Music Festival: 8 – 10 April
Multi-genre line-up of unique new talent from all over Europe and beyond in Tallinn’s best venues.
▸ Conference: 9 – 10 April
TMW’s conference explores the most current music industry trends and dives into cross-sectoral analysis via panels, presentations, workshops, inspiring talks and networking. Co-hosted with Music Estonia.
▸ City Festival: 8 – 11 April
Free daytime explorations from art to cuisine and kids programme, heated public discussions and diverse neighbourhoods across Tallinn.
Artist applications to perform at TMW 2027 are now open on the TMW website until 26 October.
TMW 2027 passes are on sale in the festival’s webshop.
TMW 2027 is organised by Muusikanädal NGO in collaboration with Shiftworks, various partners and co-curators. The conference programme is completed in collaboration with the national music industry development centre and export office Music Estonia.
